ID released of airman shot, killed in Denver

Police say a second airman was injured. That person’s name hasn’t been released.
Officials at Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora have said both airmen were stationed there. The officials didn’t immediately return a call.
Denver police say the shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. Saturday in the area of 15th and Market streets.
KMGH-TV in Denver reports that officials at Buckley have put the area off-limits to airmen. It wasn’t clear when the order was issued.
