Vestas, Xerox planning to add Colorado jobs

Wind turbine manufacturer Vestas Wind Systems is holding a job fair for new projects that could provide more than 100 new jobs in Pueblo, while Xerox Services in Greeley says it plans to add 1,000 more seasonal employees through the end of the year.

The Vestas tower plant in Pueblo has set a goal of reaching full capacity by 2014. The company is hoping to hire as many as 100 additional workers, beginning with a job fair Wednesday in Pueblo.

Xerox Services in Greeley supports the health care industry, including Medicaid plans. Company officials also plan to hire another 300 people in the Colorado Springs area.
