Motorcyclist critically hurt in crash

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a crash in Colorado Springs Sunday night. Two other cars were involved in the accident.

The crash happened at the intersection of Woodmen Rd. and Union Blvd.

Police say the motorcyclist ran a red light and crashed into one of the cars. The two cars crashed into each other while they were trying to avoid the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist was critically hurt in the crash. Police say he was not wearing a helmet.

Police believe alcohol was involved in the accident.

No one has been ticketed at this time.

Woodmen Rd. was closed at Union Blvd. for several hours while police investigated the crash.
