Police: Overdoses could be linked to bad heroin

Pueblo police have launched an investigation after three people overdosed on drugs in one week.

Police think the overdoses could be the result of bad heroin.

In one case, a 29-year-old man died. A 14-year-old runaway and a 32-year-old man also overdosed, according to police.

Investigators suspect heroin in all three overdoses based on the type of paraphernalia that was found at each location.

Police want to know where the victims bought the potentially tainted drugs. Call Pueblo Police at 719-553-2502 or Pueblo Crime Stoppers at 719-542-STOP (7867) if you have any information.
