Fire burning on Fisher’s Peak
A wildfire is burning on Fisher’s Peak in Las Animas County according to aroundtrinidad.com
The site reports that the fire is burning on the east side of Trinidad’s most recognizable mountain.
As of Friday afternoon, the fire had burned between 1.5 and 2.5 acres. Firefighters say it’s not spreading very quickly because of light winds.
No buildings are threatened.
