House searched in Black Forest
Investigators are turning their attention to a house in Black Forest, even though it wasn’t burned by the fire. On Tuesday, they searched a home on Falcon Drive near Shoup Road. A neighbor tells KRDO Newschannel 13 that investigators removed items and were on the roof taking pictures
No one is living in the home because it is being renovated. Construction crews were allowed back in after investigators were done.
The home is located within the suspected ignition point zone. The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office did not return our call requesting more information on why the house was being searched or what investigators found.
