15-year-old given drugs and alcohol, sexually assaulted

Two men are facing charges after a teenage girl was found unconscious at a home in Simla on May 22.

Investigators say the 15-year-old overdosed on alcohol and Vicodin. They say she was also sexually assaulted.

On June 20, 18-year-old Logan Potter of Simla was arrested for three counts of sexual assault and underage alcohol possession/consumption. Potter is being held at the Elbert County Jail on $50,000 bond.

Deputies say the victim bought the drugs and alcohol from 19-year-old Eric Plowman of Simla.

Plowman was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor, distribution of a controlled substance to a minor and underage alcohol possession/consumption.
