System failure affects Motor Vehicle services Saturday
A failure in the Colorado State Motor Vehicle system is affecting services at the El Paso County Clerk and Recorder’s Office Saturday.
Officials said because of the failure, the office wasn’t able to do any form of title work, new vehicle registration, or registration renewals Saturday. They are still able to help customers needing driver’s license, recording and election services.
The North Branch office is the only location open on Saturday and is open through 1 p.m.
Officials did not explain what system failed and when it would be repaired.
