KRDO, NewsChannel 13, in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, located on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies, is looking for a National Sales Assistant.
Job Purpose and Objective
KRDO, the ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs has an immediate opening for an energetic and enterprising National Sales Assistant to provide primary support of our national sales and the responsible Sales Manager (SM). The successful candidate will be expected to accept, input, and confirm all national and/or regional orders placed with the station. It is vital to maintain all this activity on a daily basis. Daily communication will occur with the SM on all orders and issues involving orders, preempts, and make goods. Discrepancies must be reconciled on a daily/regular basis. Duties also include the filing of all national orders and their detail. Daily communication is required on the part of the NSA in working with all Millenium Rep’s. All communication is done via telephone, e-mail, and/or fax machine. You will also be involved in the process of updating and maintaining pertinent Political orders and files. Additionally you will be involved in the growth, fulfillment, and use of Scarborough and AdViews research as it applies to station clients and their needs.
Required Qualifications:
You must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. A working knowledge of computers, with emphasis on Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Wide Orbit, Scarborough, and Efficio is required. The ability to work standard office machines (computer, telephone, copier, fax, printers, etc.) is also required. Previous office support experience. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented and very organized. You must be a team player
