Fire restrictions in place for the city and county of Pueblo.

Effective at 1:00 PM today Stage I restrictions will be in place in Pueblo County and High Fire Danger Restrictions will be in place inside the City of Pueblo.

These restrictions include the following:

1) Open burning, except fires and campfires within constructed fire grates inside developed camp and picnic grounds, charcoal grills and wood burning stoves at private residences. These areas must be cleared of all flammable materials.

2) The sale or use of fireworks (as defined in Section 6) pursuant to C.R.S. 30-15-401(1)(n.5)

3) Outdoor smoking except within an enclosed vehicle, a building, or in a 3-ft cleared area (Pueblo County only- this item not valid inside city limits)
