40 evacuated after Pueblo hotel fire

Pueblo firefighters evacuated the Holiday Inn Express late Friday night after a fire.

The call came in just before 8 p.m. There was heavy smoke on the first floor and lighter smoke on the second.

One person was treated for smoke inhalation.

The Pueblo Fire Department said about 40 people were evacuated.

Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire. Late Friday night, they were talking to electricians about the possibility of an electrical fire.
