Shooting victim identified, death ruled homicide

Colorado Springs police say a man who was found dead at an apartment complex on Saturday was shot to death.

The man who was shot has been identified as 35-year-old Andre Mazion. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Mazion’s body was found in a parking lot at the Grove Apartments, 3985 E. Bijou St., after someone called 911 to report hearing gunshots.

Police say 27-year-old Andrew Pace pulled the trigger. Pace is considered a victim of menacing, according to police.

On Saturday police said an argument over a traffic accident may have led to the shooting.

It will be up to the district attorney’s office to decide if any charges will be filed.
