Police investigating deadly shooting

Police are investigating a deadly shooting in Colorado Springs.

It happened around midnight Saturday at the Grove Apartments on E. Bijou St.

Responding police found a man in the parking lot who had died from apparent gunshot wounds.

Police believe the shooting stemmed from a crash that happened in the parking lot just before shots were fired.

The CSPD Major Crimes Unit is interviewing several people. They believe they are in contact with everyone who was involved.

Police do not believe there is any danger to the community.

The victim will not be identified until his family is notified.
