Colorado Springs man arrested on suspicion of murder

Colorado Springs police arrested one person in connection with an alleged murder on Camfield Circle.

Neighbors called the police around 1 a.m. Wednesday after hearing a disturbance. When police arrived, they found a man dead on the lawn. Police said the victim had apparent trauma to his body.

20-year-old Elton Lamar Johnson of Colorado Springs has been arrested and faces a charge of murder in the second degree.

The cause and manner of death of the victim will be released after the coroner completes an autopsy, police said.
