Man shoots hand cleaning soda off gun
Colorado Springs police say a man shot himself in the hand and leg cleaning soda off a gun.
Police say the 24-year-old victim was sitting in his vehicle when he spilled a soda on his handgun.
Officers say after wiping it dry and while replacing the magazine in the gun, the gun accidentally discharged, injuring his left hand, left thigh, and left calf.
He was taken to Memorial Hospital and is in fair condition.
