Hiring spree kicks off for Pueblo Chemical Depot

Hundreds of people are hoping to land at job at Pueblo Chemical Depot.

In the past few months, about 100 people have already been hired to work there. Another 300 are still needed. In 2015, the plant will begin destroying stockpiles of mustard agent. Managers say they’re looking for people to fill jobs from laboratory positions to data entry posts.

“I was able to hear a number of different stories from those who were just laid off to some who are just looking for a change at a job or for those who have been laid off for a number of months so it’s really gratifying to see them come out to our job symposium,” said Sandy Romero, communications manager for Pueblo Bechtel Team.
