Head-on crash above Highway 50 bypass

A head-on collision in Pueblo sends two women to the hospital.

The accident happened around 4:15 on Highway 47. Police say a driver of a Ford pickup truck veered into oncoming traffic and hit a minivan above the Highway 50 bypass. After the crash, part of the truck was left hanging over the guardrail.

Police say there does not appear to be any life-threatening injuries.
