Colorado Springs Police investigate deadly shooting on King Street
Colorado Springs Police are investigating a deadly shooting in the 2500 block of King Street, on the city’s westside near Uintah and 25th streets.
Police were called just after 4:30 p.m. and found an adult man dead in a town home.
“It does appear that we do have a shooter out there, as we don’t have any person of interest at this time.,” said CSPD spokesperson Barbara Miller. “We’re going to be out here all night looking for suspects.”
Miller said police were interviewing several witnesses.
A young girl who lives in the neighborhood told KRDO that she was riding her bike and heard a woman scream about ten minutes before police arrived.
