Dog stolen from car, owners want him back

Police are asking for the public’s help finding a stolen dog.

The missing dog, named Polo, is a male mini-poodle, between 10 and 15 pounds with white curly hair. He was wearing a blue collar and a red sweater with white writing on it.

Around 6 p.m. Friday, the victim’s daughter parked their car in the parking lot of the shopping center near the corner of Palmer Park Blvd. and Powers Blvd. The daughter took their mini-poodle for a short walk, then put the dog back into the car. She then went into the store to shop. The dog was missing when she came back out.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the dog is asked to call police at (719) 444-7000 or Crime Stoppers at (719) 634-STOP (7867).
