Two arrested in Fremont County Administration Building burglary

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary at the Fremont County Administration Building, according to a media release.

The break-in happened on Jan. 17.

Tuesday night, officers arrested Douglas Aaron Ghiorso, 18, at a home in Caon City. Two other suspects in the house were taken into custody on unrelated warrants.

Earlier that day, officers arrested the second suspect, a 17-year-old, at the Kountry Korner store in Caon City. They say the juvenile was caught during a burglary in progress.

Ghiorso also is a suspect in that burglary. Officers believe he left the scene before they arrived.

The 17-year-old was transported to the Spring Creek Youth Services Center in Colorado Springs.

Ghiorso is being held in the Fremont County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. He’s facing burglary and theft charges.
