Police investigate overnight shooting

Colorado Springs police are investigating an overnight shooting Saturday.

Police were called to the 2000 block of Platte Pl. to investigate a report of shots fired. They did not find anyone at the scene, but did find a car with several gun shot holes in it.

Shortly after 2:00 a.m., police learned that a victim with a single gun shot wound had arrived at the Evans Army Hospital. The victim’s injuries were not serious.

The victim said he did not know the suspects or why they shot at him.

The victim could only describe the suspects as three black men.
