Pedestrian Killed in Security

Colorado State Patrol is investigating a deadly car and pedestrian crash on Bradley Road and Cantrell Drive in Security.

Troopers say a pedestrian was crossing Bradley around 8:30 Friday night when they were hit.

The pedestrian died at the hospital and has not been identified at this time.

Troopers say the driver was identified as 19-year-old Tatyana Christmas of Colorado Springs.

She was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash and was not hurt.

Troopers say speed is not a factor in the crash.

At this time it is unknown if alcohol or drugs on the pedestrian played a part.
