Taco Express robbed at gunpoint

Colorado Springs police are searching for a man who robbed the Taco Express on the 4500 block of Centennial Boulevard.

Police said the man walked into the restaurant armed with a handgun at about 9:30 p.m. Monday.

The man demanded money and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to investigators.No one was hurt in the robbery.

Witnesses described the robber as a white man, in his mid 20s, about 6 feet, one inch tall. If you have any information, call police at 444-7000.
