ESPN: Broncos OC McCoy To Chargers

Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Mike McCoy will be the next head coach of the San Diego Chargers.

ESPN.com is reporting McCoy told the team he is accepting the job.

The Chargers offered the job to McCoy on Tuesday and the contract is expected to be finalized Tuesday afternoon.

McCoy will become the second Broncos coordinator to take a head-coaching job within the AFC West in two seasons. Last off-season, former Broncos defensive coordinator Dennis Allen was named coach of the Oakland Raiders.
