UPDATE: Manitou child is safe, not missing
The Manitou Springs Police Departments tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a child originally reported missing is fine and the whole thing was a misunderstanding.
Police say the incident stemmed from a dispute over a restraining order at Manitou Elementary School. The child is fine and is in his mother’s custody.
