El Paso Co. woman accused of killing mother, husband

A woman who lives in a Cimarron Hills mobile home park was arrested Friday, accused of killing her husband and mother.

Sheriff’s Officials identified the woman asDonna Kaiser-Anderson, 57.

The bodies were discovered in a trailer on J Street at the Springs Mobile Home Park on Western Avenue, near Galley and Peterson roads.

The investigation began Friday afternoon when a neighbor noticed a bullet hole in her home. She called the El Paso Co. Sheriff’s Office, and investigators found evidence the gunshot came from the home next door, whereKaiser-Anderson lived.

Investigators called Kaiser-Andersonafter no one answered the door at the mobile home. Sheriff’s spokesperson Lt. Jeff Kramer said Kaiser-Andersont, but she came back home, let authorities inside the house, and that’s when the bodies were discovered. The victims, who lived there with the homeowner, may have been dead for several days.

“Although we’re not sure what lead up to this, or precipitated this crime, there is information that’s leading us to believe this event may have taken place some days prior,” said Kramer.

Kramer said evidence found at the scene lead investigators to believe the female homeowner was the suspect. He said the sheriff’s office doesn’t believe anyone else was involved in the crimes.

Kaiser-Anderson has been booked into the Criminal Justice Center. Officials said she faces two charges of second-degree murder. Officials have not yet released the names of the victims.
