Police ask for help identifying robbery suspect

The Colorado Springs Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a robbery suspect.

The man is accused of robbing a 7-Eleven store and a Circle K on Saturday, December 22nd.

The first robbery happened at the 7-Eleven at 525 North Union Boulevard around 3:20 a.m. Police said the man tried to grab cash from an open cash register. A struggled ensued between the suspect and employees and the man ran away after taking some items.

Forty minutes later, the same suspect entered the Circle K at 3805 Maizeland Road, police said. He’s accused of forcing his way behind the counter and trying to steal money from the register. He ran away from the scene and was not found.
