Authorities ask for help solving 2011 murder

The 4th Judicial District Attorney’s Office and the Teller County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s help solving a July 2011 murder.

The body of 26-year-old John B. Hogan was found buried in a shallow grave in the area of 335 Elk Lane, just outside of Woodland Park.

Investigators say Hogan was last heard from on Tuesday afternoon on July 5th, 2011. He was then reported missing two days later.
