Springs sex assault suspect arrested in Breckenridge
A man wanted by Colorado Springs police on charges of sexual assault of a child was captured in Breckenridge on Monday.
22-year-old Zachary Siegel is accused of having sex with a 12-year-old girl he met on Facebook.
Breckenridge Police officers learned that Siegel was at Maggie Restaurant in Breckenridge on Monday afternoon. Officers contacted him inside the restaurant and arrested him without incident.
Siegel was transported to the Summit County Jail where he was formally booked on the El Paso County Court warrant with a $25,000 bond. Siegel bonded out of jail at noon on Tuesday.
