Monument vigil planed for missing teenager

Work continues this weekend in the search for a Colorado Springs area teenager who went missing in Durango. Meanwhile, a vigil is planned in Monument to honor the boy.

The Dylan Redwine Task Force is made up federal, state and local investigators.

A spokesman for the team says the group wants any pictures and videos taken at Vallecito Lake around the time Redwine disappeared Monday November 19.

“All of the information received by the Task Force is being compiled by Task Force Crime Analysts for timeline development and future Task Force action strategies,” said Lt. Ray Shupe, Public Information Officer for the Dylan Redwine Task Force.

Redwine had recently moved to the Front Range area and was enrolled at Lewis-Palmer Middle School. A prayer vigil for Redwine will be held Sunday night in Monument. It begins at 6 p.m. in Limbach Park at the corner of Front and Second Streets.
