Armed robbery at Quality Inn

Police say a male suspect approached a clerk with a handgun at the Quality Inn on Garden of the Gods Road and demanded cash around 9:00 p.m. Saturday.

He fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police set up a perimeter and brought in a K-9 unit to search for the suspect. They were unable to locate him.

The suspect is described as white with short gray hair. He is between 45-50 years old, 6’00” feet tall and 165 pounds.
