2 Acre Fire Burning In Pueblo County

A small fire sparked in southwestern Pueblo County Sunday afternoon.

The fire burned off of Clennin Road and Baxter Road, which is a few miles south of Rye.

The fire burned about 2 acres. No buildings were immediately threatened.

At last report the fire was about 75% contained. Crews will remain on scene overnight to gain more containment and make sure the fire doesn’t flare up.

No evacuations were ordered.
