Turkey day feast preps

Fort Carson’s can do spirit is showing up again to to help Southern Colorado. 28 volunteers have been prepping food for Thursday’s Salvation Army free feast at different locations.

Thousands of servings have been prepared for you to gobble up. Chief Warrant Officer, David Geier is psyched to be part of this huge event that will help thousands. He told me, “When we do this, it’s a great feeling for Fort Carson to give back, especially this time of year. The community has supported us in Colorado Springs. When we have the opportunity to do the same, we’d also like to give back.”

The Thanksgiving Day dinners have been prepared at Fort Carson to be dished out to the community for nearly 25 years. Don’t worry, all the vittles will be hot and tasty when they’re doled out to you with a smile at the Salvation Army locations.

I’ve put a link to the locations on our front page. It’s under links we mentioned. It’ll include the times and locations of the dinners.
