Love at first smell

The newest fad to hit dating life in Arizona is pheromone parties.

Experts say naturally occurring pheromones could help you find your perfect mate.

Fascinations and Phoenix Mingles held the first one in the Valley at Scottsdale’s Red Revolver Friday night.

Here is how it works, party-goers bring a shirt that they have slept in when they are not wearing perfume, cologne, or body spray. Then they gather around a table and sniff away. Then they take a picture with the shirt that smell makes them weak in the knees. And you have love at first smell.

“Everyone’s pheromones are different from another’s. It’s almost as unique as a fingerprint” said Dr. Shannon Chavez with the SHE clinic in Gilbert.
