Car collides with motorcycle at Fountain and Hutchinson

A car collided with a motorcycle at the intersection of Fountain Boulevard and Hutchinson Drive on Wednesday evening.

Authorities tell our KRDO NewsChannel 13 crew at the scene that a man was driving a Pontiac sedan eastbound on Fountain and didn’t see the motorcyclist, who was heading west.

The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet but the helmet flew off, authorities said. The rider suffered skull and face fractures and brain bleeding.

The driver of the car and a child in his vehicle suffered minor injuries and were not transported to the hospital.

The driver of the car may face charges, pending results of the investigation.
