Colo. Springs woman accidentally shoots husband
Colorado Springs police said a woman accidentally shot her husband while he was trying to teach her how to hold a gun.
Officers were called to the 1900 Summernight Terrace after reports that shots were fired.
Police said Jacob Cherry was trying to show his wife how to safely handle a firearm while he was cleaning his handguns.
According to police, Cherry’s wife accidentally fired a shot that hit her husband in the left hand and leg.
Cherry was taken to the hospital and is in good condition.
Police said charges have not yet been filed in this case.
