Police search for suspect in armed robbery

A man is robbed at gunpoint outside a Colorado Springs hotel. It happened on Monday just after 9p.m.

Officers responded to the Ramada Inn at 520 N. Murray Blvd. The victim was in back of the hotel when he was confronted by the suspect.

The suspect displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s cell phone and wallet. He then ran off.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’3″ to 6’5″ tall, skinny, wearing a black hoodie and black bandana over his face.
