Armed suspect caught in Security-Widefield

El Paso County Sheriff’s deputies say they have caught the suspect wanted in a domestic disturbance in Security-Widefield.

Officials had shut down the area of Crawford Avenue and Security Boulevard Monday morning.

Sgt Joe Royball said this all began after a man assaulted his wife. When deputies showed up to the their home in the 100 block of Easy Street, the suspect took off running, officials said.

Officials have identified the suspect they’ve arrested as Christoper Cole.
