Pueblo police look for Walgreens robbers

Pueblo Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s assistance identifying two men who robbed a Walgreens earlier this year.

Police say two men robbed the Walgreens at 2900 West Northern Avenue on May 29. Walgreens employees told police that the men entered the store around 4:20 a.m. and began taking cartons of cigarettes from behind the counter area. When employees confronted the men one suspect said, “Get back, I don’t want to hurt you.” The other suspect allegedly said, “I don’t want to kill you.”

Employees told police that one man appeared to be concealing an unknown weapon under his hoodie. The suspects took about 15 cartons of cigarettes and left the area on BMX-style bicycles.

Surveillance cameras captured pictures of both men. Click on the photos in this article to enlarge them. Each man is described as being Hispanic, about 6′ tall, and weighing 180 pounds. The first suspect was wearing a black hoodie and the other was wearing a gray hoodie.
