Man’s body found near Stetson Elementary

A man’s body was found Thursday night on a bike trail behind Stetson Elementary School.

Police on scene said they didn’t believe the death was suspicious, but wouldn’t elaborate as to why.

The school is located off Jedediah Smith Road.

Officers said some neighbors found the body at about 8 p.m.

KRDO Newschannel 13 crews saw police removing a bicycle along with the body.

An autopsy will likely happen Friday. We’ll continue to bring you more information as we get it.
