Small grass fire contained in Colorado Springs

The Colorado Springs Fire Department quickly controlled a grass fire in the city on Wednesday afternoon.

Crews are still at the scene to monitor hot spots at Mesa Road and West Uintah Street.

The fire grew to about 1/4 an acre before containment. No structures were threatened by this fire.
