Pueblo wildlife officers investigate poaching crime

Wildlife officers are investigating a poaching crime involving a large buck deer found near mile marker 85 on Hwy. 96 east of Pueblo.

Authorities say they believe that the deer might have been shot somewhere else and dumped along the highway. The head and antlers had been removed.

Wildlife officers hope someone may have heard or seen something that may shed light on the incident. There is a $500 reward if a tip results in a citation.
