Campaign stops planned in southern Colorado

On Saturday, October 6, the Obama campaign’s “Colorado Forward” RV tour will make stops in Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Littleton and Denver.

The campaign said in a press release, “2012 election offers Coloradans a clear choice between two fundamentally different visions for our country’s future. We can fall backward under Mitt Romney, with an economy that trickles from the top down. Or we can keep moving forward with President Obama and rebuild our economy from the middle class out.”

On Wednesday, October 10, and Thursday, October 11, First Lady Michelle Obama will travel to Colorado, where she will speak to grassroots supporters in the Colorado Springs area and Durango.

The First Lady will speak about what’s at stake in this election for Coloradans and encourage them to help organize their communities between now and Election Day. Mrs. Obama will also promote voting – including early vote which starts on October 22 in Colorado – through GottaVote.com .

The First Lady’s events are free and open to the public.

Tickets are required due to limited space, and will be available to the public starting on a first-come, first-served basis at the pick-up locations below.

Details on the First Lady’s visit haven’t been announced yet. As soon as they are, we will pass that information along.
