Companies looking to hire in southern Colorado

According to the Pikes Peak Workforce Center, more and more companies are looking to hire, especially for the holiday season.

Recently, Alorica announced 350 new positions in Colorado Springs and Comcast announced 150 new jobs.

Traci Marques is a business specialist with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center. She said a new company has hosted a job fair at the center almost everyday.

On Thursday morning, Chef’s Catalog hosted a job fair and was looking to hire 160 seasonal employees.

Marques said there are a range of employers, so as long as job seekers are motivated, they should be able to find work.

The Pikes Peak Workforce Center not only links up employers with potential employees, but there are also workshops and networking meetings available at the center.
