$100,000 reward for Waldo Canyon Fire suspect info

An anonymous donor is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person responsible for causing the Waldo Canyon fire.

Colorado Springs Police say the donor came forward anonymously and Crime Stoppers will oversee the money.

Investigators say they have yet to determine if the fire was set accidentally or intentionally, but they have said it was human-caused.

Anyone who has suspect information is asked to call the special Waldo Canyon Fire tip line at 719-385-2222. This is the only number to call to receive a reward up to $100,000. Police say you must leave your name and contact number and an investigator will follow-up with you.

The Waldo Canyon fire burned nearly 350 homes and took two lives in late June.
