Armed robbery at 8th Street Liquor

Colorado Springs Police tell KRDO NewsChannel 13 that a liquor store was robbed at gunpoint on Monday afternoon.

8th Street Liquor located in the 500 block of S. 8th Street was robbed just before 3:00 p.m., police said.

Police said that an armed man demanded money from the clerk then left the area with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white man, 5’10” tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, according to police.
