Fort Carson Sgt. arrested for assault

AFort Carson Sergeant was arrestedafter police say he assaulted his wife and another woman.

Police got a frantic phone call from a woman just after 3 a.m.on Saturday morning in the 3600 block of Agate Circle reporting loud noises in her homes and eventually reported a male in her bedroom.

An investigation revealed Fort Carson Sgt. Sitiveni Tupou, 25,broke into the female’s home and attacked her. She escaped her attacker and ran outside where she was met by police.

Officers arrested Tupou at the scene. During the course of their investigation, his wife came to the Police Operations Center and reported that he had attacked her earlier.

Tupou is now facing charges for assault and burglary.
Both women are expected to be ok.
