Power Restored After Early Morning Outage

There was a power outage Sunday morning in Colorado Springs that was affecting about 2.400 customers.

Power was completely restored around 7:30 a.m. Sunday.

The outage affected an area north of Garden of the Gods Road and south of Vindicator, along Centennial Blvd.

Colorado Springs Utilities said that an underground cable failed and caused the outage.
