‘Obama Bop’ causing controversy

The Obama Bop is causing controversy at a Kentucky hardware store. Some customers say it’s offending, while others say it’s no big deal.

Jen Pellerin and Samantha Griffin were stunned by the new product.

“It’s a bruised face. He looks like he’s been beat up, and a big sign twenty dollars,” said Pellerin.

It’s called the Obama Bop and has some customers ready to fight.

“If you have different views than the president that is in office…it is the office of the president of the United States, you have to show some respect,” said Griffin.

Kenneth Stout, owner of Stouts Building Center, says , “It’s just a good comical item, and that’s all it is. It doesn’t pick one political candidate over another.”

When asked why he doesn’t have a Romney Bop yet he replied, “They are not available, they didn’t make those. They didn’t have any calls for them.”
