Brush fire burning in Las Animas County

A brush fire is burning in the southeast part of Las Animas County.

Little information about the fire is available at this time, however our news partners at the Trinidad and Las Animas County News have confirmed the fire is near County Road 85.5.

The fire started Monday afternoon.

It is not known how big the fire is or if it has burned any buildings.

As soon as we get more information we will let you know.
